Vanilla Kipferl

Ingredients

  • 300g Flour
  • 250g Butter
  • 2 tsp Rein Vanilla Extract
  • 100g Icing Sugar
  • 100g Ground Almonds
  • A pinch of Salt

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients to a shortcrust dough and leave it in a cool place for one hour.
  2. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1cm before cutting into small pieces and forming crescent-shaped biscuits.
  3. Place the cookies on a not greased baking tray and bake at a moderate temperature (180°C) for around ten minutes or until they turn a light brown colour.
  4. Then toss the hot cookies with icing sugar.
